1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and cook until it's properly cooked. Once done drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

2. In a large wok or deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chopped onions and saute them until they are translucent.

3. Add the diced chicken/ pork belly/ beef, diced zucchini, potatoes and onions to the pan and saute until it's browned on all sides.

4. Mix in the black bean paste, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir vigorously to combine everything well.

5. Add 2 cups of water to the wok and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

6. Taste the Jajangmyeon sauce and add salt and pepper as per your taste.

7. In a separate pot, add water and bring it to a boil. Add the cooked noodles and cook for 4-5 minutes.

8. Drain the noodles and divide them into bowls.

9. Pour the Jajangmyeon sauce over the noodles. Drizzle sesame oil over the top and serve hot.
