Get your taste buds ready, as several new food options will be available at this year's Champlain Valley Fair.

Three items will make their midway debut when the 2023 Champlain Valley Fair kicks off this week, including Tajín candy apples, deep-fried cannoli on a stick, and Korean corn dogs, according to show organizers.

Tajín candy apples are a traditional candy apple rolled in a Mexican seasoning that consists of dried and ground red chilies, sea salt and lime juice.

Organizers say the seasoning, which is used on fresh fruit and vegetables, has a slight spice but is a mixture of sweet and sour for a unique flavor.

Fans of the traditional corn dog will also have a new way to enjoy a fair favorite with the introduction of the Korean Corn Dog, which includes an all-beef hot dog and mozzarella cheese that is fried and then rolled in a topping. Available toppings include Takis Mexican chips, fried potato cubes or Hot Cheeto dust, organizers said.

Finally, Italian cannolis will get a makeover this year thanks to the introduction of the deep-fried cannoli on a stick. Each cannoli can be covered with powdered sugar or drizzled with chocolate and caramel syrup.
