Indiana State Fair food 2023: "Taste of the Fair" has innovative picks

A collection of new confections is set to hit the Indiana State Fair this year.

The fair announced the newest additions to its food options Friday, expanding its tradition of flavorful, innovative selections premiering alongside the usual fare. On tap for the 2023 celebration, which runs from July 28 to Aug. 20, is a host of fruity drinks, delectable desserts and fried, well, everything.

Urick Concessions

Tortilla chips topped with bratwurst, hatch chile queso, jalapeño peppers, salsa and sour cream

Nitro Hog BBQ

Macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork, buffalo sauce and ranch dressing

Wilson Concessions

Corn, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, nacho cheese and tajín served in a cup

Twisted Drinks and Food

Nacho chips topped with queso, street corn and barbecue sauce

Wilson Concessions

Soft pretzel topped with pizza sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses

SW Concessions

Curly fries topped with cheese, sirloin tips and A1 steak sauce

DG Concession

Slice of pizza topped with mozzarella, cotija cheese, corn, jalapeño peppers, chipotle mayonnaise, tajín and crushed ranch tortilla chips

Red Frazier Bison

Smoked bologna burnt ends topped with pickles and mustard

Georgia's Kitchen

Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos topped with ground beef, lettuce, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream

Indiana Ribeye

Bite-size hamburger pieces with cowboy beans and choice of regular or barbecue chips

Plant-based patty dipped in teriyaki barbecue sauce and topped with mango salsa and vegan cheddar cheese between a brioche bun

American Dairy Association Indiana

Provolone and basil pesto on sourdough bread served with a marinara dipping sauce

Gobble Gobble

Macaroni and cheese and pulled barbecue turkey stuffed in an empanada

A slice topped with white sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, corn, chili lime seasoning and cilantro

R&W Concessions

Burnt end brisket link deep fried in cornmeal batter and dipped in barbecue sauce

Red Frazier Bison

Quarter-pound bison patty, bacon jam, goat cheese and bread-and-butter pickles between a pretzel bun
